About Me
Anne Hatmaker Delgado began her Suzuki violin studies at the age of three at the Preucil School of Music, and was nurtured in a rich musical environment. Over the past fifteen years, she has taught violin from her private studio as well as in elementary strings programs and has experience teaching a wide-range of ages and skill levels. She has studied with Mathias Tacke of the Vermeer Quartet as well as Catherine Van Hoesen, a member of the San Francisco Symphony.
After playing with the Madison Symphony Orchestra as a contracted violinist for thirteen years, she moved to California, and currently performs with a number of regional orchestras including Modesto Symphony, Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera and California Chamber Orchestra.
In addition to a background in music, Anne has degrees in education and educational psychology, and completed Suzuki violin teacher training courses at institutes in Atlanta, Ithaca, and Northern California. She is also a member of the Suzuki Music Association of California.
