About Me

Anne Hatmaker Delgado began her Suzuki violin studies at the age of three at the Preucil School of Music. Over the past fifteen years, she has taught violin from her private studio as well as in elementary strings programs and has experience teaching a wide-range of ages and skill levels. She has studied with Mathias Tacke of the Vermeer Quartet as well as Catherine Van Hoesen, a member of the San Francisco Symphony.
After playing with the Madison Symphony Orchestra as a contracted violinist for thirteen years, she moved to California, and currently performs with a number of regional orchestras including Modesto Symphony, Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera and California Chamber Orchestra.
In addition to a background in music, Anne has degrees in education and educational psychology, and completed Suzuki violin teacher training courses at institutes in Atlanta, Ithaca, and Northern California. She is also a member of the Suzuki Music Association of California.
